Getting Started: Group Services in Casebook

What’s new

Casebook is releasing new features and improvements to service notes which will simplify the process of documenting and reporting on services delivered to multiple people.

  • Frontline workers can now add more than one person to a service note

  • Service notes will now be automatically linked to all relevant cases, intake reports, and providers for each person added to the note

cb Reporting users can now report on attendance and notes for multiple people included on group service note

What you can do with attendance tracking?

For our customers, time is money and more importantly, time-consuming data entry can mean either less time with clients or less accurate data for reporting (or both!).

This feature will sing to customers because it will help them save a lot of time by entering and reporting on information about services provided to multiple clients.

Frontline workers

Frontline workers can now add more than one person to a service note

  • The “Service recipient” field on service notes has been replaced with a new “People” section, which supports any number of people

  • Attendance and personal notes can be recorded per person

Service notes will now be automatically linked to all relevant cases, intake reports, and providers for each person added to the note

  • Each person added to the note must have an active enrollment for the selected service listed in the “Service plan” section on cases and intake reports

  • Service notes will be displayed in the “Recent notes” and “Service plan” sections of all linked resources for each person added to the note

cb Reporting users

In addition to many fields from service notes which currently exist in cb Reporting, users can now report on attendance and notes for multiple people included on group service notes

  • Existing “attended” field in the “service_note_recipients” view has been updated to support multiple people

  • New “personal_note_narrative” field has been added to the “service_note_recipients” view

    • Existing “group_note_narrative field” remains reportable per service note

    • New “personal_note_narrative” field is reportable per person included on the service note

Not only can customers create service notes in bulk, but our team has also added the ability for notes to be automatically linked to the client's relevant intake, case, and provider records.

We're always looking for ways to save our customers valuable time in their day-to-day work, and this is a big step in that direction.
